Cozy chic fall wedding inspiration with a warm blankets and apple cider hot toddies featured on Red Oak Weddings.
The time for flannels, boots, and Pumpkin Spice Everything is fast approaching, so I thought I'd take the time to share this autumn wedding editorial I organized with Krysten of Leight Up Life Photography last year.
This was my first ever styled shoot. The goal was to celebrate the romance and coziness of autumn, and we chose to utilize warm blankets, hot drinks, and vibrant hues of burgundy and orange to capture this feel. At the center of this shoot were the Dutch Master style arrangement and bouquet from the talented May Chester featuring bronze spider mums, and parrot tulips, the one-of-a-kind burgundy vintage chairs from Copper & Sage Vintage Rentals, and the Hot Apple Cider Toddy station with custom made artwork by Handmade Highlights.
The day of the shoot was challenging - there was a violent thunderstorm in the morning and the afternoon when we shot was cloudy and a humid 75 degrees! But our team still managed to capture the essence of a brisk and colorful fall day that we hope inspires brides to incorporate the beauty of the season into their wedding!
